Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who will be responsible for data analysis, design of logical and physical data models and creation of technical specifications for data transformations within ODS/DWH projects. The role is focused on working with large data platforms (TB of storage, hundreds of thousands of customers), SQL analysis, modeling and working with ETL tools.

Mission

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications of data transformations
  • Create logical and physical data models
  • Work on ODS/DWH projects with large data volumes (1+ TB core, 5+ TB DB, 500k+ customers)
  • Perform data analysis using SQL
  • Collaborate with developers, architects and business analysts
  • Work with modeling tools and ETL technologies
  • Participate in the design of data flows, mapping and data structures

Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of:
    • data analysis
    • creation of logical and physical data models
    • creation of technical specifications of data transformations
  • At least 2 years of experience in the role of Data Analyst on an ODS or DWH project that meets at least one of the conditions:
    • core layer min. 1 TB
    • total DB size min. 5 TB
    • data for min. 500,000 customers
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SQL
  • Knowledge of at least one modeling tool:
    • Erwin
    • PowerDesigner
    • Sparx EA
    • DbSchema
    • Oracle Data Modeler
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language other than SQL for working with data, e.g.:
    • VBA, Python, Spark, R, Java, DAX
  • Knowledge of at least one ETL tool, e.g.:
    • ODI, SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Qlik, Ab Initio

Advantage

  • Experience with data quality and data governance
  • Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
  • Experience from the financial sector
