For a major clrient in the energy and utilities sector, we are looking for experienced data architects to join long-term strategic data-analytics initiatives. The project focuses on modern data platforms in the areas of ODS, DWH, Data Lake / Lakehouse and work with current architectural approaches, such as Data Mesh or Data Fabric. This is a stable and long-term cooperation in the environment of a large enterprise organization, where data plays a key role in business management, operations and strategic decisions.

• Design and documentation of data architecture and data models
• Collaboration with development and analytical teams to implement:
• ODS
• DWH
• Data Lake / Lakehouse
• data pipelines
• Definition and enforcement of standards for:
• data quality
• data integration
• data security and GDPR
• Support in the selection and implementation of tools for:
• reporting
• data modeling
• Design of solutions for data streaming and integration of real-time flows
• Mentoring of junior colleagues and reviewing technical proposals

Must-have:

• At least 3 years of experience in the role of data architect on data-analytical projects (ODS, DWH, Data Science / Machine Learning)

• At least 3 years of experience with relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, Teradata, DB2 etc.)

• Practical experience with GDPR implementation and data protection (verifiable reference required)

• Experience with Data Quality framework implementation
• Participation in projects using modern architectures:
• Data Mesh
• Data Fabric
• Data Lake / Data Lakehouse

A big advantage:

• Knowledge of at least one reporting tool:
• SSRS, Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, Excel PowerQuery
• Knowledge of at least one data modeling tool:
• Erwin, PowerDesigner, Sparx EA, DbSchema, Oracle Data Modeler
• Experience with data streaming (e.g. Apache Kafka)
